#ThrowbackThursday - Jaheim: Put That Woman First

This song is beautiful. I mean if it were food, it would be some overpriced French shit with accented Es all over the place - and the portion size would be so large you could actually get full off of it. Whoa.

Hitting the world straight in the heartstrings in 2002, Jaheim's interpolation of William Bell's I Forgot To Be Your Lover shot to number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time of its release, and is Jaheim's most popular song to date. The song is essentially an improved cover of the original, maintaining the key sentiment, a few words and the melody, pretty much reworking everything else. The result is a track that warms even the coldest of hearts if only for the song's 4 minutes 12 seconds duration, and how can you not love Jaheim's RnB arm-dancing??? It's stupendous, and on top of that it's this week's #ThrowbackThursday selection, so hit play and enjoy.
