Who hasn’t heard this song? Like if you haven’t I think you should seriously get your roof checked out – you’re clearly living under a very dark rock. Back in the summer of ’01 Ginuwine, real name Elgin Lumpkin (you can see why he wanted another name) released this banger that went on to be his most successful song to date, written specifically for his wife after she helped him through a bout of depression (aww). Safe to say the song has gone on to be an R'n'B classic, as well as an essential tool for guys in the art of “mood setting” shall we say. Anyway enjoy this week’s throwback, Differences by Ginuwine.
